Hiram Walker

Funeral services for Frank Hiram Walker, 63, of Pavo will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday December 16, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church, where he was a member. Brother Joe Dunn and Brother Wayne Goff will officiate and interment will be held at Salem Cemetery. Mr. Walker passed away on December 14, 2017. Born August 18, 1954 in Quitman, Ga., he was the son of the late George Franklin Walker and Margaret Ethridge Walker. Mr. Walker was a retired volunteer fire fighter of 20 years. He worked in after-market sales in the boiler industry for over 36 years. Mr. Walker was of the 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner. He was also a former Royal Ambassadors Leader. He was married to Roxanne Cooper Walker of Pavo, who survives. Other survivors include daughters Amanda Walker of Thomasville and Crystal Walker Viar ; son, Addison Walker both of Pavo; son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Grant and Amy Viar of Thomasville; grandchildren, James “Jamey” Viar, Jr, Adilyn Anthony, Bentlee Oliver all of Thomasville, and Jadyn Murrah of Coolidge; twin sisters, Faye Walker and Kaye Walker both of Pavo; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Jimmy Jackson of Meigs, Rex and Rachel Cooper of Thomasville, Rochelle Cooper of Pavo, niece Aubrey Cooper of Vada, niece and nephew April and Noah Jackson of Moultrie; and lifelong friend Wilburn Shelley. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Shirley T. Cooper, father-in-law Carroll W. Cooper, and nephew Austin Hiers. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers his family ask that donations be made to the Pavo Volunteer Fire Department at P.O.
